Fringe Science

SciFiChat topic for Nov. 23, 2012 is Fringe Science.

Christmas issue, 1959, Galaxy Science Fiction

Time for Secret SciFi Santa.

SciFiChat this week will explore Fringe Science. From Einstein to the latest weird science, bizarre ideas are sure to reign supreme.

Also, it’s time for Secret SciFi Santa. Each year on Black Friday, the chatters of SciFiChat sign up to be Secret SciFi Santas. Once they have been assigned a recipient, they anonymously send the gift of a used science fiction novel from their own collection. This is a great way to discover a new science fiction author, or to discover a long lost classic.

There will be a social hour before #SciFiChat, beginning at 2:00 pm Eastern Time.

The moderator of #SciFiChat is @DavidRozansky. To monitor or participate in #SciFiChat, sign in to the Twitterchat tool of your choice and use the hashtag #SciFiChat. Please introduce yourself to the chatters.

I’m sure that most writers/readers will understand the obvious (per the post title,) but if you want to update your entry, you entered “October” in the first sentence of the post rather than “November.”

    Cheers!

PS: Thanks so much for your expertise and dedication to this chat.

Thanks for the proofread. Seems I posted an article on my blog not too long ago about how bloggers need test readers before hitting “publish.” Dang me.
